What is the Payment Card (Active)?

It's a virtual Visa Platinum card you can use to pay online at merchants that accept Visa. The card currency is USD, but you can pay in any currency: conversion is handled automatically at the Visa exchange rate on the date the transaction is processed.

The card works on a subscription basis: you pay for the period you choose, and there are no fees for issuance, top-ups, or regular purchases.

How does the Payment Card work?

You top up your card manually from your main Coinhold Wallet account in USDT (this is not the same as topping up the Coinhold Wallet account itself with crypto).
Your card balance is held in USD.
Each purchase is charged in USD from your card balance. If the purchase is in another currency, conversion is handled automatically.
Other cryptocurrencies aren't supported for top-ups yet.

How to get and activate a Payment Card?

The order is: subscription payment first, then verification, then issuance.

Go to the Payment Card section and choose the Active card.
Select a subscription plan: 1, 3, 6, or 12 months.
Confirm the payment. The plan price is charged in USDT from your main wallet account. If you don't have enough funds, you'll see a Not enough funds error: the subscription won't be activated and no money will be charged.
Complete verification. To issue this card, you need to pass additional verification required specifically for the card. You'll need an identity document. The check usually also covers a selfie and proof of address.
Wait for issuance. Once the card appears in the app, your subscription becomes active and the paid period begins.

If the card couldn't be issued, you don't pay for it.

If verification is finally rejected or issuance fails, the full plan price is refunded.
If verification isn't completed but can be retried, no refund is made: you can try again. We'll send you reminders after 24, 48, and 72 hours.

Card details don't include the cardholder name. This is expected behavior.

How much does the subscription cost?

Subscriptions are paid in USDT only. The "from 5.39 USDT per month" price applies when you pay 64.69 USDT for the full year in a single payment.

Each card has its own subscription: if you have several cards, each one has its own plan, billing date, and status.

How does subscription renewal work?

The renewal date depends on the date your card was issued. For example, if you got your card on August 17 and paid for 3 months, the next charge will be on November 17. The same plan you selected is renewed.

If there are not enough funds for renewal:

You're automatically moved to the monthly plan, and the amount due is 5.99 USDT. If you were already on the monthly plan, nothing changes.
A grace month begins. Your card keeps working. Every 24 hours we check your balance and try to charge 5.99 USDT. The amount doesn't increase. Notifications are sent no more than once every 7 days. You can tap "Pay now" at any time.
If payment fails by the end of the grace month, the card is frozen and the amount due is 5.99 USDT.

The card isn't closed or blocked. The balance on your card remains yours, and nothing is deducted from it.

How to unfreeze your card: top up your main wallet with USDT and tap "Pay now". Otherwise, the system will check your balance automatically within 24 hours. Once payment is made, the monthly plan is activated and the card is unfrozen. Your previous multi-month plan isn't restored.

Can I add the card to Apple Pay or Google Pay?

Where can I pay with the card?

The card is suitable for online purchases at merchants that accept Visa: AI services, SaaS and subscriptions, travel, hotels, flights, and marketplaces.

My payment is declined. What should I do?

Check:

whether you have enough funds on the card balance;
whether the card is frozen (for example, because of an unpaid subscription);
whether the purchase amount exceeds $30,000.

If none of these apply, contact support via in-app chat, on the website, or by email at [email protected]. Tell us the time of the transaction, the amount, and the merchant name.

Why is my card frozen?

If you see that your card is frozen, most often it means your subscription renewal didn't go through and the grace month has ended. While the card is frozen, payments aren't available. How to unfreeze it is described in the "How does subscription renewal work?" section.

How do I top up my card?

Yes. Additional verification is required to issue this card. You'll need an identity document.

Is there a monthly or annual fee for the Payment Card?

The card works on a subscription basis: from 5.99 USDT per month (or 5.39 USDT per month if you pay for 12 months at once).

How can I view my transaction history?

All card transactions are available on the platform. An official statement can't be issued yet due to legal restrictions.

What should I do if I lose access to my Payment Card or notice transactions I didn't authorize?

Freeze the card in the app and contact support right away.

Can I withdraw cash from ATMs?

No, cash withdrawals aren't supported.

Can I make transfers from the Payment Card?

No, card-to-card transfers and P2P aren't available.

Can I withdraw money from the Payment Card back to my Coinhold Wallet account?
