How to Trade on Coinhold Wallet

What is trading

Trading is one of the ways to buy cryptocurrency, similar to swapping or P2P, but with flexible conditions. For instance, trading allows you to track prices and buy coins in real time.

Imagine that the current market price of a coin is 100 USDT. If you create an order and specify a purchase amount of 200 USDT, you will immediately buy two coins, or slightly more if the price drops.

How to use trading

To get started, let's select a trading pair in the table — you can scroll down the list or enter the name of one of the coins in the search bar. A trading pair consists of two coins that you can trade between: buying one and selling the other.

For example, there is the BTC•USDT trading pair. If you tap the green "Buy" button, USDT will be deducted from your trading account, and you will receive BTC. If you tap the red "Sell" button, you will sell BTC from your trading account and receive USDT in return.

Let's try buying BTC with USDT. To do this, tap the green button representing purchase to specify the order details.

At the top, you will see your trading account balance in the currency being spent. If you tap the plus icon, you can top it up from your main account, another wallet, or P2P.

Below the balance is the input field for the purchase amount. Here, you need to enter the amount in USDT that you want to spend on buying BTC. You can either enter the amount manually or select a percentage of all available funds in your trading account.

At the bottom, you will see the amount of BTC you will receive from the purchase, along with the fee. The purchase amount is calculated based on the current market rate and already includes the fee.

To buy, enter an amount (for example, 10 USDT) and tap "Buy BTC."

After that, a notification confirming the order creation will appear, followed by another notification once it's filled. Orders are usually executed instantly, so the cryptocurrency will arrive in your trading account right away.

Go to the History section to check your order.

Here you can find all your buy and sell orders. You can filter them by date, coin, and transaction direction. The purchased BTC is already in your trading account, available under the Assets section.
